Miyavi's Interview with a Palm Reader

Guest 21: 雅-miyavi- (2005/6/14) Miyavi released his first major album "Miyavizm." No matter where you look, it's a work that's got Miyavi written all over it. The lovely palm reader who's done readings for many public figures in the music, press, sumo, and the beauty care industries. From word of mouth of those who's said "She's right on the mark!", *sigh*....She's appeared in many magazines like "FRaU" "MISS" "jouseijishin" "jousei seven" etc. She'll be in soccer magazine "Footival" and "Bloombooks" [I don't feel like translating this because I know most of you don't care, and the rest of this stuff is like advertising herself. Can I ask for real?

Miyavi: I've seen fortune tellers many times, but this is the first time I've had my palms read. Also, I only listen to the good things (laugh).

Yukimaru: That is, of course... (laugh).

It helps a lot that I know a little bit about palm reading!]

Miyavi: Wow...interesting!!

Yukimaru: Then, on to the subject of work. Miyavi: What do you mean by that!?

Miyavi: First, this is my view of romance, but, rather than seeing my partner as a single girl, seeing her "as a single human being", and having a relationship in which we are able to say that each of us is fifty-fifty, is ideal.

Yukimaru: Really? Then let's have a look at that! You spoke VERY honesty now, but... first let's look from the romance of your past.

Miyavi: Eh!? Omg, I'm scared!

Yukimaru: You don't have to be (laugh). Since your teens you've really been popular, haven't you!

Miyavi: How, can you see that sort of thing from looking at my hand? (laugh)

Yukimaru: It's TRUE! (laugh) At present, you have a lot of chances from people who feel love strongly for you and whether or not that will continue... Well, just as what was said before, now you're really working hard with your work. Let's take a look at Marriage also

Miyavi: Yes, please.

Yukimaru: On both hands it shows the possibility of marriage in your 20's and 30's. The way things are now you're more likely to marry in your 30's, but after all it's up to what you decide yourself.

Miyavi: I'll get married, ME? (laugh) Now after being involved with music...... It's not my plan to make my fans my work, but when I think about my relationship with them.... I haven't really given much thought about marriage.

Yukimaru: It's not unusual to still have those sort of thoughts now. The fact that only this is clearly etched in your marriage line, is just that you have the possibility of deciding to marry someday. When you come near to that time, the marriage line will start to turn pink or red!

Miyavi: REALLY!?

Yukimaru: Yes. but now it's still not colored at all, you see (laugh). The palm-lines change each day, so it'll be so interesting to see how they change from now, wont it!

Miyavi: And, so.... Can I, write all this down?

Yukimaru: Sure (laugh).
