The title is just the MK team being silly. Iken is like your opinion or reflection on something. So this section is the team's individual opinion and reflection on Miyavi.

I am very impressed with Miyavi as a musician; he is a very talented individual. There aren't many 24 year olds who can accomplish something such as playing all the instruments to record his or her album in addition to writing all the music and lyrics. I have much respect for him and his talent. Sadly, I was not drawn to Miyavi because of his talent in the beginning. Before I even heard a song by him, I began liking him for his physical appearance. But as my fandom increased, I began listening to his music and was blown away.
Miyavi is very childish and playful. When he was Due le Quartz, he was the youngest member I believe, but he was also more visual. Now that he has his own solo career, it's more about the music and his fans. He doesn't dress up the way he use to, but there's still the definite sex appeal.
It's very difficult for me to put him in a particular genre. He has a variety of songs, from slow and sweet to heavy rock. His voice is kind of harsh, but definitely pleasant on the ears. With the release of his lastest full length album, I would say that his music is leaning more toward rock.
As much as we would all like to get to know more about Miyavi's personal life, he is very private and I respect that. It allows others to appreciate him more as a musician and a talented artist.

There are so many things about Miyavi that I could say. I feel like -- where should I start? One of the things I love the most about Miyavi is his abilitiy to uplift and give confidence to anyone at anytime through his amazing songwriting and performances. For anyone listening to his music, it is apparent that he uses incredible care and attention to detail not just in his image but his music and lyrics. Always presenting himself as the "king of visualism," he continuously strives to make music more than just an audial experience. From his realistically visual lyrics, that drive to the heart themes such as ambition, self-will, and confidence, to his eye-popping performances, Miyavi is definately a unique master of all arts.
For anyone following him through his career, one can also notice that Miyavi is also a very caring and considerate person. I think this is one aspect that really makes him stand out among other visual-kei performers. It has often been mentioned by magazine journalists how surprised they are when they see how caring miyavi is to everyone. For example, even at his own events - which are always very busy and often a little stressful - he takes time to make sure every staff member has a lunch set before he starts to eat his own. He plans those events to ensure the enjoyment, and more importantly the safety, of all those involved. And during concerts, he is incredibly aware of the audience; if he notices people can't see, he does whatever he can to fix that.
Miyavi, like any other human being, deserves appreciation and respect. Just like all of us, he has moments when he is joyous and moments when he is down. He's mentioned before how it was tough in the process of becoming an artist because he lost so many important people to him - but he also gained many new friends as well. I think in those rare moments when he shows his deeply melancholic side, it is most important to try to understand how he feels, rather than get frustrated or start pointing fingers. Miyavi is a very wise person, and he deserves that unconditional understanding from us more than enything else.

What more can I say that the others haven't? All I know is that I respect and admire miyavi completely. He is what I can truly call an artist. Not once have I ever seen him restricted and bound to any expectation we might bring forth. He is one of the most talented musicians I have ever seen. He has great music, and all his lyrics and songs are written and performed with such passion!
Even though I have only been a fan for about 2 years, I have dedicated a lot of my time (and money XD) towards Miyavi, and I shall never look back! Getting into Miyavi, and Jrock, is something which has totally changed me around. He has inspired me to let go and be whoever I want to be, and that it's possible to be my own person. He just brings joy into my life, I listen to all his beautiful music and it actually lifts my spirits. Looking at his pictures, actually inspire me as an artist to draw or to paint.
Basically, I will always love and admire this man. What can I say, you never forget your first love ;)
