Philosphy

JAPANESE GLAMOROUS

“Glamorous Japan”

In advocating a cool Japanese style and a way of being, and in presenting “COOL JAPAN = ‘kick ass’ Japanese culture” to the entire world without regard to nationality or internationality, while bearing in mind a creation of a plan that can contribute to our world “peace (peace & smile)” and the “happiness of a simple day-to-day” for each individual starting with music and then through to other creations, we aim at creating a workplace and organization that will enable those who work for us, and those who affiliate with us, to have dreams, and speak their desires, not just as Japanese people but as themselves.

“Always be your glamorous selves”

Always be GLAMOROUS
& Sophisticated in Style.

As our motto, Our own company, although being young, would like you to watch us grow together, while meeting our social responsibilities as an enterprise through content development, promotional activities, and various business operations.

I feel there may be much unsteadiness, but I would greatly appreciate any advice, support, and encouragement till the very end.

Without laughing off dreams and desires as “pretty things”, to live a life where we can face the future with unwavering eyes.

Is Miyavi looking for international artists or solely Japanese artists? Because at the Press Conference at Anime Matsuri 2009 he said he wanted international artists, but official J-Glam stuff, like its Myspace and its website, seem to indicate that he wants only Japanese artists.

@annie That’s a difficult question to answer since the message on J-glam’s website was announced at the beginning of April and a couple days later miyavi attended Anime Matsuri saying it was for international artists. I think the best way to think about this is that 1) this is BRAND NEW to miyavi, 2) he JUST started the company, 3) he hasn’t really had time to work on his company especially with a world tour coming up.

However, once the world tour is over and miyavi has had time to rest up, be with his family, work out some kinks about his company, then we’ll finally be able to find out what he really wants to do with it.
